After 53 years, I finally came to the realization that I’m just an ordinary, average guy and an unremarkable man.
And then, I learned from looking at the 2020 US census data that I’m also part of a number of minority groups:
-
- Raised by a single mother
- Mixed race family
- High income no college degree
- No health insurance
- Widowed
Then I thought, “How else am I different from the majority?” and came up with this list:
-
- Retired early at 52
- Eat a carnivore diet
- Frugal
- Exercise and fitness freak
- Live Alone
- Self taught drummer and painter
- Swimmer
- Walk 2.5 hours a day
- Relocated 20+ times.
You know what? I am a weirdo.
And that’s just the way I like it.
