My knee felt so much better this morning that I was able to take Wiggles on two long walks with no problems for the first time in 5 days. I was tempted to workout (wearing a knee brace) and hit the pool afterward, but I am forcing myself instead to do nothing physical.
I know my knee isn’t fully healed yet and that I need to slowly work my way back to full functionality. What I really don’t want to do is go too hard, too fast and set my recovery back by aggravating my injury.
So, instead of working out I’m writing, drawing and reading again while being as sedentary as I can stand to be.
Tomorrow, if my knee is no worse than today, I’ll try working out.
