Elbow Bursitis

Posted on November 10, 2021November 24, 2021 by Steve Ainslie

Once again, I am rehabbing from an injury. This time it’s bursitis in my left elbow that I’ve now had for at least 3 weeks.

Supposedly the treatment is RICE. I’ve been doing that – sort of. I’m still working out, but have modified my workouts to avoid straining my elbow – much.

Having the “Popeye elbow” bulge is a bit disconcerting. Having chronic pain is worse. Not being able to do pushups is annoying.

Being in what feels like a near constant state of rehab is beyond frustrating. (2 hernia surgeries, a knee tweak, my shoulder issues and now this.)

Overall though, I’ve accepted this as part of TUF and am plowing forward, per usual.

This week I had some great purple painting experiences – I hope you like them. And even if you don’t, I do.
