Once again, the price of groceries has gone up. Ground beef, which makes up 95% of my diet, has risen by nearly 50% since pre-Pandemic. Eggs are 200-300% more expensive and liver is up 20-30%.
Of course the quality of all three has not risen.
I had a mild freak out today due when I realized my weekly grocery expense is going up by $22 due to a sudden beef price hike.
Then I did the math. $22 x 52 weeks = $1,144.
I’m not happy about it. But I’ll survive.
I’ve cut just about every discretionary purchase from my life.
If I need to, I’ll eat less too.
F***ing pandemic. F***ing inflation. F***ing greedy, price gouging corporations.
