I had several ideas for posts swirling around in my head recently that were on my list to write. They covered: long term “illegal” residents of the US who were detained, lifestyle/financial coach hucksters, and a couple of deeply personal subjects about marriage and family.
As I started writing, I realized that I have already covered some of these in previous posts. Others, I have strong opinions on but absolutely no expertise, experience or even a base level of knowledge about.
As I began to draft an outline of the first subject in my head, it hit me that my uniformed opinion on long term illegal immigrants was worthless. Nobody wants to read what I think about this. It may be a timely and interesting subject due to the current political activities in the US, but I have nothing insightful to say.
Then I thought about the coaches and their grift. I’ve already written about this. There’s nothing new for me to add without being repetitive or ranting.
So then, before getting started on the next two topics, it occurred to me that I should just shut up.
So I will.
