I have returned to the dating/seeking a lifelong partner world.
Since it’s been 32 years since I’ve gone on a date with a different woman (not counting my four recent non-dates with MGLN) this is all new to me.
But even after those 4 “dates” I’ve found some clarity and my confidence is sky high. Dating was easy. I’m good at conversation. I’m quite comfortable with who I am, what I believe and how I act. Spending 4+ hours with an attractive, cool stranger was intriguing, fun and exhilarating.
My days of being an awkward teenager and socially inept young adult are gone.
I’m a catch. Now I just need to find the right person to throw myself onto (so to speak).
I’m going to enjoy the process, as best I can.

I met someone on Bumble and we agreed to meet for coffee. But after thinking about it more, I cancelled my first date before we even got it scheduled.
It was flattering to have someone attractive, educated and worldly who was interested in meeting. She checked off quite a few of the “must haves” on my list but not all of them. I wish her well and hope we both find what we’re looking for.
