Shave And A Haircut

Posted on May 2, 2022January 16, 2023 by Steve Ainslie

My hair growing experiment lasted 2 months. When I began to grow it out I had every intention of letting it get to shoulder length.

But after two months, I now realize that I prefer a shaved head.

After 3 years of having no hair, my hair grew back a different color. I anticipated more gray but instead was surprised that it came in light brown (almost blond in areas), medium brown and white,

My hair had been dark brown my entire life – even the stubble on my head looks dark enough to be black.

It also came in thinner than before due to male pattern baldness. I have a balding spot on the top back of my head. The hair here was shorter, thinner and the hair loss is clearly noticeable.

I don’t enjoy washing my hair. I found drying it to take too much time compared to a quick swipe with a towel. The thought of dealing with gels, maintenance, haircuts and managing flyaway hair is nauseating.

It didn’t made me look younger, nor more attractive.

And so, I grabbed my clippers and restored my Mr. Clean look. This time for good.
