These posts are the stories of my life. I am a 56 year old, early-retired former tech sales guy who was widowed in 2018.
My life is intentionally centered around fitness, minimalism, frugality, and spending time with my dogs. I am a contented, introverted loner. My life used to be much different.
I live in Raleigh, blog, swim, do gymnastics & yoga, walk my dogs, read, and fix stuff. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of DIY home improvements.
Writing this blog helps me work through the thoughts swirling in my head to better understand the world and my place in it. I write to challenge my mind, test ideas and gain perspective through different lenses. Sometimes I write just for fun. Other times I write because it helps me clear out my head. I hope that at least some of my essays help, challenge, inform or entertain my readers.
