What passes as part of the news today are reports about viral videos, TikTok stars and instagram influencers. It’s like celebrity reporting, minus real celebrities. Occasionally I get suckered into clicking on one of these “stories”. I’ve noticed a trend.
The woman who star in them are attractive, wearing skimpy outfits to display their bodies while doing f*** me poses.
Of course they are.
So let’s not pretend that viewers are interested in the middle-of-the-road athletic skills of NIL college athletes like Olivia Dunn and the Cavinder Twins. Or that men are learning golf technique from Page Spiranac. Or that any followers are trying to learn dance moves from women in tight shorts and tube tops. And it’s certainly not about “female empowerment”, fairy compensating student athletes or any other marketing double-speak nonsense.
It’s not about any of that. It’s about sexual fantasy.
And of course, it’s about money.
I don’t blame the influencers for doing this at all. If I could make a lot of money simply by being photographed or filmed, I wouldn’t turn it down. I’d take full advantage of my looks and popularity while I could.
But it’s not kid ourselves. This isn’t news. It’s soft porn.
Enjoy.
