I’m still dealing with elbow bursitis – it’s now been over 4 weeks. The pain is manageable and I can do 90% of my normal activities with little to no issues. It hurts to bend my arm more than 90 degrees so I work around this as best I can. It looks weird to have this 1/4 golfball sized lump on my elbow but the only person who notices it is me anyway.
I’m hoping that eventually this goes away in time, as my googling and my visit to urgent care predicted.
Winter has arrived in Raleigh. So far, it’s been relatively mild. Some weeks the temperatures have even been fall-like in the 60s and 70s. I’m not looking forward to the bitter cold in Jan and Feb, but whatever. It’s winter. I’ll bundle up and get over it.
I saw today that Wake County Animal Control is looking for volunteer dog walkers. I’m thinking about doing it.
Otherwise I’m up to my usual – working out, walking the dogs, swimming, drumming and painting.
After dinner, I’ve been trying to unwind watching series on Amazon Prime or Netflix. It’s been hit or miss. Mostly miss.
Same with reading ebooks from the library. I have had a hard time finding anything to read that captures and maintains my interest.
Maybe this spring, I’ll go to thrift stores or yard sales to stock up on some real books. I miss the smell, feel and experience of reading an actual book vs. reading on an iPad.
My good looking neighbor, who at one time I thought might eventually become a friend or even a date, moved away without saying goodbye. But she did send me an email this week which was quite sweet and unexpected.
She’s a good person. When we first met, she had an interesting life story to share – although we only spent a few minutes talking that day. I’ll miss seeing her around the neighborhood.
