Many times, I’ll sit down at my laptop and write a post full of fury and frustration. My readers, fortunately, are spared from ever seeing these posts because I don’t publish them.
After I’ve written a rant, I’ll usually save it as a draft and reread it the next day. 95% of the time, my rant is just whining and complaining.
I’ll ask myself, “Well, what are you going to do about it?”
Sometimes, I’ll have an answer. I’ll try something different. I’ll take an action. I’ll confront the person or the issue head-on to try to resolve the problem.
Other times, I’ve got nothing. I can’t do anything to resolve the issue. In these cases, I’ll try to accept it, work around it or just let it go.
There’s no point in publishing those posts. I see no value in whining publicly. It just makes me angry – with myself.
